Dead Sensations

Dead Sensations
Sweet depression, whom I welcome
hands open in embrace.
Caress of darkness, in which I hide
most intimate desire to escape.
Relinquished responsibility
Amidst depravity
Turned to face the face of God.
Petrified of destiny
Jaded with iniquity
yearning to erase it all.
Aching coldness, which I cherish -
- feeling present and alive.
Faint despair, dead sensations,
emptiness to which I strive.

Porcelain

Porcelain
Is it a mirror,
or a window into a different world...?
'Tis a shelter,
or an escape from the inner torment you hold?
Showing to a porcelain doll
how to lose control
How to crawl through this life
of unfair strife.
... not to fake and what to take
how not to break!
Silent cries from weathered walls
surround me as darkness falls
cruelty of hard existence
reflects inside it's warm embrace.
Radiance from the angel's face -
glimpse of hope in plain disaster
subtle sighs from weathered house
torture me as days go by.
Reluctant tear
clutching fast unto the purest of souls
A young heart
hiding pain within its budding rose.

All the Gods

|

All the Gods
All the vales and fissures
all the waves and furrows
cascade
All the lines that swirl
chirrups twist and turn
reverberate
All the Gods that watch
all the Gods that see
that feel
All the flats and curves
vibrations that move
delight
All the weaving peaks
all the falls that leak
from heights
All the Gods that feed
All the Gods that bleed
for us
All the Gods that watch
All the Gods - they see
they feel...

And a Dark Day Fell

|

And a Dark Day Fell
The wind has cut through the window
in the winter that's cut through the year
Mercilessly,
painfully...
My towers fallen!
My dreams conquered,
frozen
in a moment...
And a dark day fell,
a dark day fell,
everything is ill.
And a dark day fell,
a dark day fell,
dark shade o'er the hills.
As the wind is raging wild
breaks dead silence in the fields,
the land lies in guilt,
ah, the land is dying...
and the night brings shivering cries
from a distant mountain pass
from the cradle of all winds
carrying death instead of seed.

Gods of Ancient

Gods of Ancient
Gods of Ancient
for so long
have you been asleep.
Now you come awake
and whole world,
even though silent,
knows and feels...
Gods of Ancient
Lords of nature fine
children of the creator
of all that exists.
You wake
and it cannot be seen
only by those who don't open their eyes.
We welcome you back
to aid us once more
before darkness
in it's entirety falls.
Know that we have not forgotten
Lands that feed us
Rivers that refresh
Air that we breathe
...remind us of you
Gods of old
eternal lords
We shall re-learn the laws
of men...
With your graceful help!

These Ruins

These Ruins
(Antigua terra spiritus,
Mater terra adoremus.)
Here - among the mountains of the world
Here I suffer, yet I am not empty.
Here's the land inhabited by spirits
of times passed - full of meaning.
Here life is a marvelous secret,
A splendid vision of an infinite thought.
Here I hear whisper of the fathers
worshiping their Mother Earth.
Rest assured - man with no land is a leaf in the wind
And know this - exile is a faith worse than death.
With all my heart do I kiss cold stone
of these ruins - my cradle, my parent.
